Athletics & Beyond Welcomes Montbello Walks Senior Enrichment Center

Athletics & Beyond is proud to welcome the Montbello Walks Senior Enrichment Center to our community wellness space at 3250 Quentin Street, #114, Aurora, CO 80011.

The Senior Enrichment Center creates a welcoming space for older adults to stay active, healthy, connected, and engaged. Weekday programming brings together healthy aging, fitness and movement, nutrition education, creative activities, social connection, and opportunities to engage with younger generations.

Montbello Walks has already made an impact through community health initiatives such as its Mobile Food Pantry, walking programs, nutrition education, bicycle education, pedestrian advocacy, and community partnerships. The Senior Enrichment Center expands that work by providing older adults with a consistent place to participate in meaningful activities throughout the week.

Building Community Across Generations

One of the most exciting parts of this partnership is the opportunity to bring generations together. Older adults, youth, and families can share experiences, learn from one another, build relationships, and strengthen our community.

The program also supports an important part of healthy aging: staying connected. Through movement, nutrition, arts and crafts, social activities, and purposeful engagement, seniors have opportunities to remain involved in their community.

This partnership supports the Athletics & Beyond mission of using wellness, mentorship, education, athletics, and community engagement to create opportunities that reach far beyond sports.

We are excited to have Montbello Walks as part of our growing community at Athletics & Beyond and look forward to seeing our facility become a place where people of all generations can connect, grow, and thrive together.
