2-on-2 Half Court Basketball Tournament Details

Format:

• 2 players per team

• Half-court games

• Make-it, take-it rules (optional depending on organizer)

• Standard 1’s and 2’s scoring

• Games played to 15 points or 12-minute running clock

• Win by 2 points (or straight to 15 depending on time)

Tournament Style:

• Double-elimination OR single-elimination (choose based on number of teams)

• Bracket released at check-in

• Certified court monitor/ref present for each court

• December 19th – 21st

• Games begin each day at 6 PM (or your start time)

Age Division:

• Ages 15 and up

• $25 per player ($50 per team)

Rules Overview:

​

• Ball must be checked at the top before possession

• All fouls called by court monitor/ref

• After a made basket: ball taken back beyond the 3-point line

• Possession alternates at the start of each game

• No hanging on rims

• Unsportsmanlike conduct may lead to team removal

• Indoor basketball shoes

• Team uniforms or matching colors recommended

• Water and towel
